The wind can take on many forms
It can be the refreshment of a summer breeze
Or it can be the crippling chill of winter's gusts
The wind is the encourager, pushing you forward
And yet it is also the foreshadowing of failure
The wind can be as gentle as a mother with her newborn
But can also be as ravaging and destructive as a hurricane
Yes, the wind is all these things and more
And sometimes we wonder why the wind exists
But think if the wind were to stop blowing
Think, how empty and unfulfilled life would be without it
So despite the trials, and all the heartache
The wind truly is a beautiful thing
You are as shy as a small acorn
Not yet ready to fall from the tree
Oh but think, if you were to simply let go
Think, of the mighty oak that you could be
Sharing your great beauty to everyone who will take the time to admire it
Filled with such kindness that even your shadow brings relief to the weary and the faint of heart
That is what you are to me, my love, my joy
But of course, something this monumentous cannot be achieved without support
For what is a kindness without someone there to notice it
And an acorn would merely rot on the ground if not first given a gardener
A gardener to nurture the acorn, to bring it to its full pote
